Rana Nourallah

Psychosocial Support, Trauma Healing, Conflict Resolution, Non-violence, Negotiation and Mediation

Rana Nourallah is an expert on conflict resolution, individual and community development and mediation. She is an Education and Training specialist, working with rights-based organizations based in the province of British Columbia, Canada. Through her experience there, she engaged in facilitating various equality, diversity and inclusion dialogue using consensus building, mediation and interactive training tools. 

 

With over 10 years of experience in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon and Canada, Rana works on designing and developing teams of facilitators, and leads on trainings on conflict resolution, psychosocial support, non-violence, negotiation and mediation. She is also a Master trainer for two global programs developed by the British Council, Active Citizens and. Leadership in Community Development. 

 

She also designed and managed large-scale projects for peace-building and recovery planning for Syria, that aim to bridge the gap between Syrians and increase their ability to lead change and deal with arising trauma and humanitarian crisis.

 

Rana holds a Bachelor in Business Administration, an Executive Master’s degree in Psychosocial support and Dialogue from the Lebanese University, and a Diploma in Social training and Interactive Methods from the Academic University of Non-violence and Human Rights (AUNOHR) in Beirut, Lebanon. She completed several academic programs for peace builders around the world, including the Center for Justice and Peace program in the Eastern Mennonite University (Virginia, United States) and other similar programmes from South Africa and the United Kingdom.
